Robin as a Mentor

Although Robin Cisek is relatively new to the music scene, only starting her career in 2019, Robin is seen as a mentor and role model and uses her Bachelor of Education, Certificate of International knowledge and talents in art and design to mentor and teach artists to be creative and business savvy and speak on panels. Robin Cisek goal is to create a supportive community and break down barriers for young artists and Indigenous people. Robin is one of the founding members of a local Edmonton artist collective that aims to help artists create, collaborate and further their careers. This group of artists runs mixers, free events and large-scale shows which promote and connect the arts community. Cisek also has experience designing content, images, posters and music videos for her own music releases as well as growing her own social media network of a combined 46,000 followers. Cisek has also been on a panel for IndieWeek discussing diversity in business. Robin has worked with Hitmakerz to be one of their Marketing and Branding mentors to assist their artists in taking the next step and has informed businesses on a diversity panel for IndieWeek. Cisek also volunteers her time to mentor local artists in marketing, branding and all things music industry.
